The New Idiot Box: LiveTV catching on

LiveTV watching is slated to rise with many set to watch tv on the internet, or use internet on their TVs!
Market researcher DisplaySearch has released a report according to which as many as 123 million online television sets are predicted to turn up in 2014. Also of all the TVs shipped last year, 20% had the internet television facality available on them.
New TV sets by most manufacturers, loaded with the various popular apps including Vudu, Netflix, Hulu Plus and Pandora are already available, allowing one to download songs and shows. Also available are sets that give access to news feeds, latest sports scores and networking sites like FB and Twitter.

Even emerging and developing markets are in line to cach the bug, following the new need to watch tv over internet in living rooms and have an altered watching experience.
